WHEN successfully engaged with clinicians, the experience is excellent. But IF we can end up with them.
Often, just at the opening time of surgery.. recorded message says “all the appointments are taken for today”. And no further options are available to see or to talk to any medical staff.
Make us feel that we are now helpless and compromised for our health needs.
Reception staff (appointment handler) often misleading to book through triage. And we remain unsuccessful as it do not offer such menu. And on selecting other option, we get reply of not available through that service.
So nightmare of appointment should be made easy or simpler and available is the expectation.

Usually able to get an appointment with a Doctor when calling first thing in the morning

Repeat prescriptions – Use to get repeat prescription medications issued to pharmacy when emailing in on the first contact
Recently, I have to send follow up emails and call in and stil get medications one at a time meaning multiple visits to pharmacy instead of getting all medications at once

Get more training in quality care and listen to the person then answer their query.

Doctor Patel is an amazing Doctor. He diagnose so well and is very kind and helpful doctor who saved me from severe pain by referring to hospital at right time and also gave me help when I was not able to walk.
Doctor Anish Shah is an amazing doctor. Under his advice and guidance I was able to get rid of my long term conditions. He listens and understands our issues so well and help us to recover well.

Better availability of appointments as you want to see doctor on the day you are not well so will not be able to book in advance. Even if you call around 8 appointments are taken for the day.
