On 28 March during our annual full checkup at the Surgery Nazneen Khalifa was very understanding,helpful and showed professionalism towards patients care. On 30th March on our subsequent visit to the Surgery Dr A Joshi was very supportive and made us feel relaxed during our consultation.

When a patient is speaking at reception, nothing is private, all information is loud and clear for all to hear in the waiting room. The sign in screen is not private when you are putting your details for an appointment on arrival. The consultation rooms are plaster board and the private conversation can be heard in the waiting room. The receptionist staff are extremely dismissive and rude to patients who have little to no understanding of online links for the new appointment system. Staff are rude to patients who ask for repeat prescriptions and often there is delay in getting medication because there is break down in communication between GP practices and the assigned pharmacy.

The receptionist staff need re-training in how to speak and respond to patients at the surgery or on the phone. How to speak in a empathetic tone rather then condescending manner.
Make the consultation rooms sound proof to stop patients conversations being overheard by people in the waiting room. Screen film over the sign in screens to enable privacy.

Please review the appointment booking s online and at surgery to state which surgery your going to attend as the name spinney Hill medical Centre is same on both surgeries spinney Hill road and Doncaster road so for example if you are to attend spinney Hill road surgery then appointment book should say spinney Hill medical centre, spinney Hill road as it leads to confusion which surgery is to be attended when it just says spinney Hill medical centre
