Neither good nor poor | For the last appointment was sent promptly which was good, level of service and standard of communication need improving Information when requesting repeat blood tests vague, indicated we didn’t attend the original appointment. I prompted asking why and not happy to return until I know why we were being asked to return for the same blood test. Limited information provided by caller due to them not being a medical experts. Reasons for repeat bloods and thresholds expected from test were unknown Was told to call back after a week to book a call with GP to discuss the first set of blood tests. I was put on hold (maybe because I was querying why the same bloods were being requested) the staff member returned without acknowledge they were back so I said hello and their response was yes. Which was unprofessional in tone from a customer service perspective. Personally I recommend further customer service and phone training for all front facing staff member. Building silence & how to handle difficult conversations to be specific | Review of how repeat prescriptions are managed, I out a hold on eye drops due to current stocks and was advised as this hold was 6 months it was removed. Where as another medication (senna) was put on hold more than 6 months over a 2 year period however this remained on the repeat prescription. Very poor | Very hard to get an appointment unless you call at 8am in the morning which when you were ill is quite difficult. Also been recovering from heart attack 4 months ago and 0 correspondance from the GP about anything. | Allow people to book appointments online if needed and not at 8am.
