Very good | I obtained my appointment through the website via the patient triage option. I submitted my issue at 8am and by 8.30am the GP had sent a text and arranged my bloods. By 11 the reception team had called and given me an appointment for the next day. This was a far easier way to make an appointment and meant that I wasn’t taking up an urgent appointment or GP / receptionist time that could be used for someone with a higher need. Very efficient! The appointment itself was on time, with a very polite and competent member of staff. I work for the LLR Integrated Care Board in commissioning and we hear of gaps or complaints often across the system during pressured times, so i’d really like to take this opportunity to celebrate the hard work being done by the surgery to improve access to appointments for patients, and in this case that patient was me.
