I have been ordering my 10-year-old son’s medication by email for many years, as he has been on this medication since birth. I have now been told that I can no longer order it this way and must come into the surgery in person to request it.
This is a significant inconvenience, as I now have to take time off work just to place an order. The surgery often has long queues, usually with only one receptionist on the desk, meaning I can spend 30–40 minutes waiting to do something that was previously dealt with quickly and efficiently by email.
It is very disappointing that a system which worked well for years has been removed, especially when it creates unnecessary inconvenience for patients and parents managing long-term medication.

Put his meds on repeat prescription or let the patients email you with the inr reading for it to be ordered. Its quite simple

The admin staff have no idea what’s going on & don’t inform you if when a doctor is going to see the patient or when blood tests are required.
