Neither good nor poor

I was advised by the reception to go to A& E for a bad shoulder and when I got to A&E I was told they don’t deal with cases like mine until and unless I had a fall or fracture and should have been referred to out of hours surgery if the doctor was unable to see me at my own surgery

I feel the receptionist should have known this or should have asked the doctor to call me if there was no appointment available instead of sending me to A& E

When patient rings in for appt. There is always no appt available for face to face contact with doctor.
Always phone appt given…
Otherwise the receptionist will keep ringing you to spk for other things – which i dont think is necessary.

Atleast have few appts available for face to face with GP when patient rings.
Nobody rings in except if it is really important to see GP
Get rid of the very long message that keeps on going on and on when patient rings in – it is very annoying

As it was good

Must give appointment in advance as well if not available in same day. So patient problems could be solved.

Very good

I had a telephone appt and subsequently a conversation with my GP aboit decreasing the dosage of my medication. He was informative and answered my questions with confidence.

Nothing that I can think of.
