Getting an appointment was very hard I had to ring a few times just to chase a prescription
The online appointment system does not work even though I logged on at 8 am

Called the surgery on the 23/06/25 to make an appointment to see a doctor as I was off all week. I was informed all appointments were taken that I would need to call back the following day.
Called the surgery promptly at 8am the following day was 8 in the queue to request an appointment to see the doctor as I was attending the surgery for a blood test . To be told the surgery were not taking face to face appointments , that they were being held at the st saviours road practice. That I could only have a telephone appointment. Which i reluctantly accepted due to desperation (as I had called weeks before but again was unable to make an appointment , on that occasion, had to call 111 to be told to call the gp practice as they are open until 6.30pm if they were unable to see me then they could refer me to a nearby practice – called the surgery to be told they don’t do that! That the 111 service would have stated I needed to have visited a hospital within 2 hours).
My issue is one which has been ongoing for years and has progressively got worse. Upon arriving at the surgery on the 24/06/25 I was shocked to see a surgery full of patients as I had previously been told there were no face to face appointments. So what were they all doing there?
I had my telephone appointment again prescribed tablets which I have previously stated do nothing for my pain. But again the doctor couldn’t see the distress and pain I was in and how this was also affecting me and my appearance . Last night got 3 hours sleep after taking the prescribed medication .

Your reception staff should not have the authority to determine who sees a doctor or requires a telephone appointment . We do not call the surgery and waste our time on a call trying to get through to the surgery for the fun of it!
St saviours surgery or walk in at the A&E is often suggested. Which isn’t great since the issue is with my spine and spasms going down my back and leg. Causing an immense amount of pain , great discomfort’ and distress, lack of sleep which is also affecting my well being and my mental health. Also causing other issues & problems to my health

After initial hiccups in accessing the services I was able to obtain appointments with the doctor and a nurse. Have just registered with the practice.

Need to improve the service when dealing with newly registered patients, especially where continuity of patient care is essential.
