Very poor

Answering the phone at practice.As I was expecting a call back.was returned after an hour which was fine with me.but when I answered the reception didn’t say who was ringing back.instead she said yes what do you want.instead of asking me can I help.
I was quick shocked.I knew it was the doctors surgery as I have it saved on my phone.what do you want.its not the way to speak to patients.I was calling on my mum’s behalf.As the doctors wanted her to get a telephone appointment.

Answer the phones properly.and by what do you want.after all we would be calling for no reason.

The HCA I saw was very efficient, polite, friendly and she said she would follow up with a call after the results were back and she did.

Not in this occasion, however when generally text messages are received for an appointment there is no context referring to what the appointment is booked for or with whom, so if a patient has a few appointments it’s very confusing.
