Very poor

In my experience, the GP receptionist are incredibly rude, and incompetent. Complete disregard for patients welfare and generally lacking knowledge. I was recently told by a receptionist at this surgery to go to Nuffield Hospital for a blood test (this isn’t local to me) and upon arriving I was told they haven’t done walk in blood tests since LAST April. When I rang the Surgery to find out why they told me to go there, I believe Suki replied “oh, I didn’t know but now we know”. I was in a lot of pain at the time and it was incredibly unprofessional and irresponsible to have wasted my time.

In addition to this you have to really keep pushing with the receptionists to even get an appointment. Most times they tell me no and if someone then calls on my behalf and pushes and pushes (something one can’t do when unwell), they will very reluctantly give me an appointment – more times than not this isn’t the case.

Also this year, I had the surgery book me in for an appointment and on the day of I was waiting ALL DAY and when I rang the surgery they told me they have no appointment scheduled for me. Again very incompetent and unorganised.

Basic computer training for the receptionists (when undergoing renovations- I was waiting almost 20 minutes for a blood form to be printed out as the receptionist couldn’t figure it out and had to get a doctor to do so)

Neither good nor poor

One of the receptionists is very rude
But the doctors I have met are exceptional

We ring for appointments at 8:00 am on the dot but a message says all appointments for today gone. Then we still select appointments option and select 1 to retain place in queue and get a call1hr 15mins later saying no appointments but go to a pharmacy ? For an Orthopaedic long term problem ?? After explaining I get told go to a nurse? Then told call again tomorrow but this is the same issue everyday.

Firstly tried to understand the issue, check if a pharmacy or nurse can actually help if not book or offer an advanced appointment atleast with a GP.

Very good

I am very satisfied with my all people at my both surgery bcos they are caring supportive and efficient in case I forget in updating by communication over phone text and email.

I am forgetful, hard of hearing and have issues while speaking and listening over phone so once a month I’d like if you provide straight away walk in appointments in sugery for vulnerable patients
