Very poor | Called up to get an appointment which I knew would need to be face to face. Receptionist provided me with a telephone appointment due to ‘staff shortages’. GP called, told me I needed to be seen face to face. I told the GP, that I did request this and was told in a rude tone, this is our new system of telephone appointments. To top it off, I was then insulted by being told that I needed to get a better telephone line as I couldn’t hear the GP, when clearly the issue came from the GP’s side. How would anyone know of your new system if you do not let your patients know? Why can’t the GP accept that the phone call issue was from their side? | Train your GP’s regardless of seniority of how to treat patients. They are totally rude for no reason and have a sense of pride, when their sole duty should be to make patients feel at ease.
