When we need appointment,sometimes we have to wait so long on phone to be answered n then get disappointed that everything is booked for today n ring back tomorrow,so I think they should go back to old system like in the morning at 8.00 u go n stand in queue n get the appointment n they used to give us a ticket no ,so we can be seen by doctor

Lack of communication,never listen to the query always jump on conclusion no empathy shown when they soeak to the patients.

Please offer appointment to the patient when they need it the most,becuase no one would call the GP if they in good health stated

Xray was at hinckley which is quite far from my home address and took 40 min each way by car

There are never any available appointments whatever day or time you call. This is the reason why my small health problems become huge issues to deal with and need hospital admissions as trying to get an appointment or speak to someone who actually cares is impossible.
When you do have an appointment you are given every reason why you don’t need help. When I definately do. Two years ago I was admitted in april to Glenfield for 10 days with pneumonia. This all began the previous October but I was ingnores until I came into the surgery crying that I couldn’t take it anymore. I was admitted that day and told I have pneumonia which is pre threatening to a transplant patient.
I’ve presented twice with broken feet and told they are tissue injuries. I had a private mri and was told they are broken the. The gp finally referred me to fracture clinic.
It’s just terrible. No one cares until the flat line happens then everyone cares. Well that’s too late.

You need to listen. You need to have a system that tells you when an at risk patient is in the phone it in your office. I have a kidney transplant and get sick very very easily. I also cannot have a lot of medication due to interactions. You guys need to know this. Why do I have to say it every time? What if I’m too ill and can’t communicate? You will just do what you want? It’s very scary. I’m just so fed up with the GP service and the BHS lack of funding etc.
