A receptionist will create a SystmOnline account for the child in the same way as she would for an adult, using the child's patient record but the parent or carer would be given the child's SystmOnline username and password.
When the child reaches 16 years of age, the childs SystmOnline account becomes inactive. The parents can no longer access the account and the child must re-register to access online services themselves.
